I am writing to express my strong support for Michael Karraker as a candidate for the Ellensburg School Board. I’ve known Mike for the past five years, and during that time, I’ve been continually impressed by his leadership, integrity, and genuine care for our community.

As a parent with two children currently in the Ellensburg School District, I believe Mike will bring valuable diversity of thought and experience to the board. His blue-collar background and real-world, hands-on experience fill a gap that has long been missing from the school board, bringing a grounded perspective on the skills and opportunities students need beyond the classroom.

Mike approaches challenges with common sense, respect, and a solutions-driven mindset. He understands the importance of balancing academic excellence with practical skills, ensuring that every student is supported and prepared for success, no matter their path.
